We can help to arrange the “tear down” and transport the helicopter to the airline carrier.
Once at destination, using our network of helicopter specialists we can quickly arrange assembly once again and have the aircraft delivered to the showground and help position on the ground, getting the helicopter detailed and back in “show condition” ready for viewing.
Road Transportation

Using the latest state of the art “air suspension” covered trucks, we offer your helicopter a fast, safe and secure road option.
A project manager will be on hand to both load and receive the aircraft at destination.

MJS Helicopter Shipping, based at the sea port of Southampton UK, can ship your helicopter from here to any of six continents, choose from: - Asia, Africa, North America (East or West Coast), Europe and Australia/New Zealand – Either wheeled or skidded, we have a solution to get your aircraft on the water and on its way to your clients destination normally the same day it lands at the port of Southampton. We offer a Full UK Customs Clearance service and we will handle all the necessary shipping documents and paperwork on behalf of the client
A truly dedicated “Turn-Key” operation
Working with the local police, CAA and Associated British Port authority, we have in place a special permission to land helicopters right at the waters edge. This can be either wheeled or skidded aircraft. Once landed the pilot can be driven to Southampton Airport or station, around 10 minutes away or catch a train to London.
Our helicopter specialist will be on site at both the loading and discharge end, to smooth the waters!
We will then (if required): -
- Ensure Cargo Insurance is in place
- Arrange Type Rated Engineer
- Position your own blade box
- Perform aircraft survey report, with digital pictures
- Assist with blade removal and packing
- Complete the packing of the helicopter with owners own covers or cover and protect all glass areas
- Clear UK Customs
- If needed, store undercover in secure warehouse
- “Walk” the helicopter on to the vessel and oversee the helicopter tie down
- Load and secure the blade box
- Complete Export formalities
- Prepare Bills of Lading and forward to the final destination port or manufacture a reusable blade box, if required
